Welcome to AVCS Alumni!

Apple Valley Christian School would like to build relationships with the alumni and friends of AVCS by providing for their encouragement, involvement, increased awareness, and financial support of AVCS through communication, activities, and personal contacts.

Whether presently in college or in your chosen profession, we would love to hear from you! It is our hope to provide as many opportunities as possible for alumni to remain connected with Apple Valley Christian School and with each other.

Serve-A-Thon

Every spring, AVCS students and staff volunteer their time serving various organizations in the community.  Hundreds of service hours are given to assist homeless and crisis shelters, helping the elderly, cleaning up grounds of local campuses and businesses, participating in environmental conservation programs, appreciating active duty military, and many other service activities.

Annual Charity Golf Tournament

This year’s Golf Tournament was a great success.  Our Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefits the youth of Apple Valley Christian School.  If you were not able to attend, make sure you check our Master Calendar for next year’s event.  Don’t miss out on this exciting event!

A gift to the Annual Fund enhances the school’s resources and promotes the mission in ways not covered solely by tuition. The Annual Fund focuses on supporting the immediate needs of Apple Valley Christian School and provides enhancements to programs and tuition assistance for the given academic year.

Whether it is $25 or $25,000, your gift is important and it makes an immediate, positive impact on the school. Please consider supporting us in this endeavor. We accept both unrestricted (area of greatest need) and restricted gifts.

Giving toward Areas of Greatest Need (Unrestricted):

The administration and school board will determine where your gift will make the greatest impact, and they will match your gift with the appropriate program.

Giving toward Tuition Assistance:

Make a lasting difference in the life of a local family! Gifts toward tuition assistance will be used to assist qualified applicants, who might otherwise not be able to attend Apple Valley Christian School.

Giving toward Faculty Professional Development:

Anyone who has sat in a class session at Apple Valley Christian School has witnessed the exceptional faculty that the school has been blessed with. We are committed to continually provide opportunities for growth for our faculty. Whether it is assisting with attaining advanced degrees or allowing attendance at teacher training conferences, a gift toward faculty professional development directly benefits the students at AVC by allowing them to have teachers who are constantly growing in their own professional knowledge and abilities.

Giving toward Science and Technology:

Enriched academic programs are a first step in providing a superior learning environment. To keep pace with the ever-advancing fields of science and technology, there is need for funding in these disciplines at Apple Valley Christian School. Contributions to this fund will go toward textbooks, laboratory equipment, and ongoing computer hardware and software needs.

Giving toward the Fine Arts Program:

Apple Valley Christian School is blessed with an incredible fine arts program.  Gifts to this program ensure a high-quality experience for our students and those whom we hope to bless.

Giving toward the Athletics Program:

At Apple Valley Christian School, we are committed to using our athletics program as a tool to shape godly character. Students are given the opportunity to learn about the balance of commitment, physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Gifts to this fund will help purchase equipment, uniforms, and other costs associated with our athletics program.
